Okay, so I'm a teenager, I already do plays, etc. at my theatre, and school (I get most leads=]), everyone says I should go pro, for one, I can make myself cry on que (and it looks real) lol, etc.

I want to take my "career" another step futher, I want to like become a pro. actress (ya' know Hollywood, lol), Not for the "Red Carpet" or the fam, I have a passion for acting. . . . . but anyways, how should I go about getting into the acting biz? I live in a small town, but if I have to, I could travel. I need Anything and Everything you know, websites, etc. would be great, 'cause I'm sorta lost right now. Oh, and I've been like reading old plays, and even acting them out by myself (sounds stupid, but I've gotten better), etc.

Before you start getting in really big-name productions, your going to need an agent. But agents want to see a nice-size resume with not only theater experience but on-screen experience. So what I did was give my headshot and resume of the handful of community plays I've done to the nearest University/college's film program. Being in student films is a great way to build up on-screen experience on your resume.

Also, agents like to see some training on your resume. School theater and drama classes are good, but private lessons from an acting coach look really good. Look for one in the closest big city.

You must have some real talent
Become an actress by getting an agent...it's not easy though, believe me! Work your way up to large roles in plays and hopefully eventually somebody will notice you that will give you an agent.
